Fascinating farmhouse, recently renovated with complete privacy

Casa Martino is set in a delightful position in the Compitese hills just above the village of Colognora surrounded by woodlands and olive groves with magnificent views of the plain of Lucca below.

A private road leads to the house with ample parking space outside the gates. This is an ancient stone built property which was originally farmworkers' cottages, completely renovated to provide accommodation for up to 14 people.

The house is on 3 levels and is well furnished and comfortable whilst maintaining the original beamed ceilings, terracotta tiled floors and beautiful fireplace in the lounge. The pool is 8 x 14 with a deep end and walk in steps and is surrounded by terracotta tiles.

At the far end of the garden there is a lovely pergola with barbecue and long table which seats up to 16 people.
